This detail page shows several photos of the book to show what a first edition looks like.  The images are original photos taken of my personal copy of the first edition book. 

Kings Full of Aces (1969):

• The dustjacket has some unique features:
• The front flap has the price ($4.50) at the top and "Jacket Design by Harsh/Finegold" near the bottom. 
• The back cover has publisher information at the bottom and "SBN 670-41372-0" near the spine. 
• The title page and copyright page are NOT different between the two editions. 
• The first edition book cover is red with black lettering on the spine, not much different than the book club edition.
• I have included an animated GIF file that compares many of the relevant points for a clearer understanding.
