This detail page shows several photos of the book to show what a first edition looks like.  The images are original photos taken of my personal copy of the first edition book. 

Five of a Kind: The Third Nero Wolfe Omnibus (1961):

• The dustjacket has some unique features:
• The front flap has the price ($3.95) at the top and the title and author are in red instead of black. 
• The spine of the dustjacket the word "Viking" is closer to the bottom.
• The back flap of the book club edition is blank. 
• The title page of the first edition has the date "1961" on it.
• The copyright page has the Library of Congress catalog number on it.
• The first edition book cover is gray with green lettering, not much different than the book club edition.
